Overview

Situated opposite Southwark tube station and bike hire station, it is at the intersection of A201 Blackfriars Road with B300 Union Street. It is an 11-storey office building, designed by Alsop Architects, and won the 2007 RIBA National Award. The entrance to the underground parking is via Gambia Street. The building also hosts some Metropolitan Police services and there is a dedicated store for police bikes. These are not counted as part of the parking or loan bikes as they are for the sole use of police officers.
