Sea Containers House

Overview

Sea Containers house is on Upper Ground, just by Blackfriars Bridge on the South Bank of the Thames. It also borders a very busy walkway by the river. It is close to one of the busiest commuter cycling routes (CS6). Although the building is historic, it has recently has additional development and has been operating in its current state for 18 months. It is a mixed use development with a hotel, several offices and some residential property. The building management and many of the cycling facilities are in the undercroft and basements which are linked by corridors and service routes. Although bike parking, showers and changing rooms are in the basement, the majority of lockers are in the tenant areas.
